Instead of ad-hoc discounts and retroactive refunds, they built Stripe Fee Credits: a virtual, non-withdrawable balance that only pays eligible Stripe fees. How it works: - Credits engine: a gRPC service that owns policy, lifecycle and audit history. Every state change runs through a state machine with dual approval. - Logical financial accounts: the same primitive as real accounts in their money movement platform, but with no bank account behind them. - Fee settlement: credits apply just in time, before a fee ever touches your main balance. Two guardrails make it safe: - Logical accounts can only move value to other logical accounts - They're excluded from cash sweeps, so a $100 credit never moves $100 of real cash The hard part wasn't tracking a balance. It was never moving real money by accident. Tried something new this time: I turned this article into a video explainer. It helped me understand it way more than just reading, and it was genuinely fun to make. Much better than making random videos that serve no purpose. Hope you like it too. • twitter 2d positive12,000. 🤯 I started taking 𝕏 seriously on January 6, 2026. 269 days later, we’re here. No growth hacks. No engagement pods. No pretending I know what the hell I’m doing. Just showing up, building cool stuff, sharing what I learn, and talking to people. 12K is absolutely insane. And I’m nowhere near done. 🔥 12,000. 🤯 I started taking 𝕏 seriously on January 6, 2026. 269 days later, we’re here. No growth hacks. No engagement pods. No pretending I know what the hell I’m doing. It has to be one of the most requested features, with multiple PRs raised for it. px0 now supports Mermaid, along with a bunch of other features that make it a great tool for reviewing code. Here is the gist: 1. px0 now supports Mermaid diagrams, and they are theme-aware, so everything feels native. The implementation is, of course, lazy and efficient. 2. The feature I use px0 for the most is having a view of "your changes" vs "PR changes". Let me elaborate. When reviewing a PR with `px0 <pr-url>`, there are times when it makes more sense to make the changes yourself rather than leave comments. With Threads, you can do that in an agentic way. You can then cleanly see "PR changes" and "your changes", making it much easier to review your own changes. 3. Since we are talking about Threads, when asking questions, you can now choose between two scopes - PR scope and your changes scope. This gives agents better context when running your threads. 4. px0 now also surfaces "unpushed" changes in Git 5. Search now has classic match-case and wildcard options. 6. Git status is now refreshed in real time, with new and deleted files tracked seamlessly. 7. Your selected theme is now persisted, so every new px0 instance starts with the theme you selected. By the way, if you already have px0 installed, update with (I strongly urge, as this has some major bug fixes): > px0 --update If you have not tried https://t.co/Gr668c5Tgn yet, give it a shot - it is optimized for efficient code reviews, agentic editing, performance, and efficiency. It has native Git and GitHub integrations, instant search across massive codebases, and seamless handoff to local AI coding harnesses. If you are finding px0 interesting and useful, leave a star on GitHub; it helps: https://t.co/TNKen6cmgjview source ↗
