My takeaway is that I personally don’t want the headache of handling payments, refunds, disputes, etc. For my next Mac app, I’d probably just ship through the App Store. Apple handles all of that, and you get distribution too. With decent ASO, you can keep getting organic downloads every day. At this point, I’m happy to pay the 15% and not deal with the rest.view source ↗

Because we realized something most entrepreneurs never understand: The real value isn't the income. It's the asset underneath it. A business that makes $10K/month is valuable. But a portfolio of books that consistently generates that $10K/month can become an asset someone else wants to own. That's the difference between: Making money → and → building wealth. And you don't need to build a SaaS company to do it. You can start with eBooks. Create useful books with AI. Publish them through Amazon KDP. Build a portfolio of titles. Expand winning books into Kindle, paperback, hardcover, audiobooks, translations, and other distribution channels. Then, once the portfolio has consistent cash flow, you can potentially sell the publishing business through marketplaces such as Flippa or Empire Flippers. I've done this multiple times, including six-figure exits. And the best part is you don't need 1,000 books. A 12-book portfolio can already become a meaningful cash-flowing asset.view source ↗

If you run any part of your business on Claude, it's one of the most useful things they've put out this month. It's about one problem: how do you know the setup you built is actually getting better, not just looking better? Their answer lives in the claude-api skill for Claude Code: /claude-api build-eval interviews you, collects real examples of the job (past transcripts, support tickets, cases you write by hand) and builds a test from them. /claude-api hillclimb then improves your setup one change at a time and checks every change against examples it kept aside. If a change only helps on the examples it practised on, it gets reverted. That last part matters most when you're running alone. Nobody's reviewing your AI's work but you, so the test has to do the reviewing.view source ↗

I published one and it hit #3 within 24 hours. With no: - backlinks - new domain to build authority on - waiting months to compete I just published it on LinkedIn Pulse and LinkedIn’s authority gave it a HUGE head start because it’s already: - trusted by Google - full of fresh content - crawled constantly But then 2 weeks later, my article dropped from #3 to #7 and it’s been pretty volatile since. This is what most people don’t get about SEO: New content can move around A LOT after it first starts ranking while Google figures out where it should actually settle. So you don't just publish on LinkedIn and rank on page 1 forever. LinkedIn articles can be a ridiculously fast way to get into Google, THEN you see where the ranking settles over time. But the bigger opportunity here is that LinkedIn isn’t just a social platform anymore. A LinkedIn article can become another search asset that ranks on Google and gets discovered by people who have never seen your normal LinkedIn content. You should test this too!view source ↗
