He tried to “distill just a little bit” from OpenAI while building his own local AI model. OpenAI banned him. He appealed. They unbanned him. He tried again. BANNED AGAIN 😭 Now here’s where this gets interesting... PewDiePie is building Ajax, a small local AI model for his open-source Odysseus project. He needed better training data, so he experimented with using outputs from OpenAI as part of that process. And honestly, I’m conflicted. AI companies have trained models on huge amounts of our internet data, often without every creator explicitly agreeing to have their work used for AI training. But when a solo developer tries to learn from the output of one of those models to build something himself, suddenly there’s a hard line? I understand OpenAI protecting its models from companies trying to extract and replicate them at scale. But this is where I’m genuinely unsure. PewDiePie isn’t some giant competing AI lab. He’s basically a solo developer experimenting with a small local model. Should the same rules really apply here? Where exactly should the line be?view source ↗

• twitter 1d negativeSalesforce charges us $18,000 a month. So I built a replacement. It started as a personal project: one day in Claude Code on the UI. The code quality was poor, so Orchestrator cleaned it up for four days. $5,600 in tokens. It's live. Guess which one we're keeping. https://t.co/ll6l9uKyl7 Salesforce charges us $18,000 a month. "As time passes, the picture is becoming clearer: Yaniv and his hero friends prevented catastrophe on the scale of 9/11." The prime minister says investigators are now working to determine whether the attacker was sent by someone else, warning: "Whoever sent him will pay a high price." The Omani co-pilot is accused of stabbing the captain and sending the Tel Aviv-bound jet into a dangerous dive before passengers and others aboard intervened. The suspect remains in custody as authorities investigate his motive and whether he acted alone.view source ↗

You NEED to: • Replace fragile chat loops with Temporal state machines for crash-resilient agent workflows • Build a dynamic context assembler that strictly budgets tokens between memory, tools and docs per request • Implement a System-One router to handle 95% of triage in milliseconds, escalating only edge cases to reasoning models • Write a raw Model Context Protocol (MCP) server from scratch to expose your database securely to external agents • Build trajectory grading in CI that blocks PRs if an agent's tool-call sequence deviates from the golden path • Add an inter-agent sanitization proxy so Agent A's output can't execute a prompt injection on Agent B • Implement a cost kill-switch that halts any agent loop if projected token spend exceeds $0.50 per query • Build a 3-tier memory engine (Working, Episodic, Semantic) with automated eviction and compression policies • Set up KV-cache prefix sharing at the proxy layer to slash Time-To-First-Token by 80% for identical system prompts • Route 5% of production traffic to a new model silently, compare the trajectories and auto-generate a diff report • Build an API-to-Browser fallback where the agent spawns a headless browser if the REST API 404s • Automate a DPO pipeline: user thumbs-down → auto-format to preference pairs → queue a nightly LoRA fine-tune • Implement a PII unmasking proxy that swaps sensitive data for UUIDs before the LLM sees it and restores it post-generation • Set up a speculative decoding pipeline: local 2B model drafts tokens, cloud 70B verifies them, cutting latency 60% • Build a 4-tier graceful degradation chain: Frontier API → Mid-tier → Local Quantized → Semantic Cache • Add checkpointed human-in-the-loop approval gates wired directly into Slack for high-stakes agent actions • Trace every LLM hop with OpenTelemetry-style spans capturing exact token counts, latency and tool arguments • Fuzz your own multi-agent swarm with malformed tool outputs and context overflow tview source ↗

He was the copilot, and he stabbed the Indian captain nearly to death and put the plane into a dive so steep that part of the rudder was ripped off. The captain somehow managed to open the cockpit door and shout for help before collapsing. With the plane in a frantic dive some Israeli passengers rushed the cockpit and subdued the copilot who was in the act of disabling the aircraft controls. One Israeli grabbed the yoke and pulled the aircraft out of its dive. A dentist on board stabilized the critically wounded captain while a pair of off duty pilots took command and guided the aircraft to a safe landing. There are two ways to deal with terrorists. Surrender and die, or fight and live. The captain and passengers chose the latter.view source ↗
