Even among my friends who pay for it, when I ask them to open ChatGPT and show me their queries, it’s the same handful of basic things. Most don’t even know they can upload a photo and ask questions about it. Connecting Gmail so an agent can read and send emails blows their minds. An agent opening a browser and checking them into a flight? They’ve never even heard of it. The massive challenge right now is adoption, and then getting people who already signed up to actually use what they’re paying for. Most have absolutely zero clue what’s possible. Imagine the compute shortage when everyone starts using AI like the top 1% of users do today.view source ↗

Just confidently quick-walk past the line, hop under the lines, and go with such energy that you don't even notice if any random person is bitching about it, just keep going until you're at thes If anyone bothers you about it, just tell them that your flight is leaving in 30 minutes and you HAVE to get through ASAP, no matter what they say 99% of the time no one will stop you, it's all just in your head... Literally had to do this last week in Curacao when I arrived at the airport with 37 minutes to go before my flight Sprinted through the airport, arrived at the line for the security with my big suitcase & backpack Went under the guideline, told some ppl asking my flight was leaving in 30 mins, prepared the security luggage check in record time, left in 5 minutes, and made it to my flight with 15 minutes spare Just GET it doneview source ↗

For me it mostly comes down to who gives me the most tokens and the best model in terms of speed and quality. Hard to see a moat there. But I’m pretty sure the average consumer will never bother doing this. Then again, if you can just tell your new agent “log into Grok Bot and move my memories to Muse,” maybe they won’t have to. My thesis is that software is becoming a commodity, so the model is the key. And the model increasingly comes down to who has more compute, which comes down to who has more money to spend on capex. The moat moves down the stack ladies and gentlemenview source ↗
