• twitter 2d positiveAs a founder, $10k/month sounds like a big milestone. As a builder, it’s just a math problem. $10k/month = ~$334/day. If your product is $29.99/year, that’s roughly 11 new subscriptions a day. Just 11 people a day deciding your product is worth $29.99 for an entire year. • twitter 2d positiveAnthropic launched Sonnet 5.5, made it as good as Opus 5.5, then went ahead and nerfed Opus 5.5. Crazy marketing. We tested Opus 5.5 on launch day and again today, on the same open-world GTA 6 India prompt. Launch day vs today below. The difference is clearly visible. https://t.co/kkaCanoKYo Anthropic launched Sonnet 5.5, made it as good as Opus 5.5, then went ahead and nerfed Opus 5.5. Crazy marketing. Back in the days before AI, I would regularly spend weekends on yolo PRs changing thousands of lines of code. The goal wasn’t to merge. I just wanted to get a feel for what the changes would look like. Tons of reasons for this: - exploring architecture - figuring out blast radius of changes - getting early product feedback - feeling out different flows, APIs etc The key to making this work: assume all PRs will be closed, not merged. The PR you merge can be built differently than the branch you used to explore. It often should be. I’d go as far as to say that all PRs filled by non-maintainers should be closed by default, meant only as references for future humans and agentsview source ↗

Actually handles load surprisingly well. (any experience in the comments to share?) because the programming model does not expose the underlying linux system, you can actually think of celld as a distributed operating system - running in user space of linux. it only runs one program / doesn't support multi-tenant, but it has system services like an operating system. it's all about networking - i like to think of it as the practical modern version of plan9 or even erlang beam.view source ↗
