X X / Twitter 1w ▲ 0 negativei guess people got afraid to try breaking JEV after seeing max p=0.06 on BEGJEV lol. there is 0.69 ETH there and counting, up for grabs. it costs about 5 bucks worth of tokens to try. i thought the initial rubric was unbreakable too, but someone broke it. https://t.co/BiXTZ3Es0K i guess people got afraid to try breaking JEV after seeing max p=0.06 on BEGJEV lol. there is 0.69 ETH there and counting, up for grabs. it costs about 5 bucks worth of tokens to try. i thought the initial rubric was unbreakable too, but someone broke it. https://t.co/BiXTZ3Es0Kview source ↗

There was a time around February, where it looked like the frontier labs had some kind of monopoly. The advances of the summer have killed that nightmare. To believe in Q3 of 2026 that OpenAI could hike the price and force us to pay more, is to be uninformed about where the industry is at.view source ↗

X X / Twitter 1w ▲ 0 negative open-source / alternativeTypeSafe's Jev doesn't write text, it returns probabilities. So we built jev, an open-source CLI that turns them into exit codes: jev noul "Is this angry?" --state-file msg.txt --fail-under 0.7 0 = yes, 10 = no. A semantic `if` for scripts and CI. https://t.co/3MhbPbXTon TypeSafe's Jev doesn't write text, it returns probabilities. ◈ Bluesky 1w ▲ 0 negative decision / modelsInteresting use of Jev, seems to me, isnt one fast, cheap decision — it’s the ability to fan out on many decisions in parallel. Eg intent, relevance, progress, routing, tool choice, etc — evaluated in parallel, forming a decision matrix that deterministic harness code resolves into the next action. ◈ Bluesky 1w ▲ 3 negativelike, you could slap jev into the loop to just be _alerting_ but not blocking regarding this sort of behavior and get quicker human-in-the-loop interventions than what they are exhibiting. alignment is one thing, but this is just lack of caring. like, you could slap jev into the loop to just be _alerting_ but not blocking regarding this sort of behavior and get quicker human-in-the-loop interventions than what they are exhibiting. alignment is one thing, but this is just lack of caring.view source ↗

Y Hacker News 1w negative decision / modelsOllaya – Ollama for open-source, Jev-style decision modelsHas anyone actually seen better or the same results with Laya compared to Jev? From my experience, Laya performs significantly worse. It's less confident and often makes wrong decisions with more complex queries. Given Jev can make decisions really fast (but not fast enough to play Doom yet sadly), I wanted to try and push it to play a more complex game than Tetris. So I went with Pokémon. I've spent endless hours playing this game as a child so building this was a ton of fun. I open sourced everything in case you want to hack on it yourself here: https://github.com/christianmat/jev-pokemon The game is being streamed live including the tokens and cost - hopefully we get all the badges and don't get stuck in a cave :)view source ↗
